asthma

My name is Donna,
I have three kids , with asthma. My twin fraternal girls are 8 one has had it since she was three other one 5. My son as well he has had asthma since he was 3. It it always hard for me during the winter to keep my kids well. I would do fine but with school and all the time kids spend outside, well it isn't possible to keep the cough away. My son just started kindergarten and he is bringing home a lot of viruses. This Christmas he was ill. He had had a fever for a day and throat pain glands swollen headache the fever continued to 102 so i did take him in to Dr because it was Christmas time what did they say oh it is a virus. Ok, well the the symptom's worsened his neck was hurting all of his body fever 104 so to the er well it is a virus well it had been 4 days so i took him in after Christmas the Dr put him on amoxillion, he is getting better. My biggest fight in life is my kids asthma. It is hard to explain to family that my kids are not like other kids. They don't know how it fells when your child has pneumonia bronchitis in the er with iv antibiotics loss of fluid iv i don't know i am still learning ut i am getting to know how to tell people you do not understand. Then what I hate is when i see other kids with asthma family friends and their children need their asthma under control but the parents do not care if they cough wheeze. I pray a lot and that is all I can do. I find it difficult to rememeber all the medications sometimes. ut over all I am trying and i keep my kids warm and dry. Try my best to do all I can so they can play as the other kids do.
